BioGenius GmbH was founded in 2004 and has continuously developed since then. With the relocation to the Bergisch Gladbach Technology Park in 2007, the infrastructural prerequisites for further growth were established; laboratory and testing capacities were gradually expanded in the following years.
A defining characteristic of the company is its interdisciplinary structure: analytical laboratory, biological efficacy tests, and expert consulting are organizationally and technically bundled under one roof. This allows projects to be comprehensively managed and interfaces to be efficiently controlled.
Against the backdrop of regulatory developments, particularly in the context of the European Biocidal Products Regulation (BPR), the service portfolio and testing scopes have been continuously expanded and adapted to current requirements. BioGenius thus combines accumulated experience with structured, regulatory-oriented further development.

Company History
BioGenius was founded in 2004. The location was moved to the Bergisch Gladbach Technology Park in 2007; the premises have been expanded over the years. BioGenius describes its unique selling proposition as the combination of product development, analytical laboratory, and biological efficacy tests under one roof. In the context of regulatory developments (including BPR), services have been expanded and adapted.

Start als spezialisiertes Prüfinstitut mit Fokus auf Biozidthemen und praxisnaher Produktprüfung.

Umzug an den heutigen Standort
Aufbau und Ausbau der Infrastruktur im Technologiepark Bergisch Gladbach.
