When I launched BioGenius together with the founding team in 2004, our idea of establishing a service laboratory for biocides was still in its infancy. The vision was there, but the path was still full of challenges and opportunities.
Today, twenty years later, BioGenius has become a force to be reckoned with in the industry - a success that is primarily due to our extensive expertise in key areas of biocide authorisation. Today, BioGenius is one of the leading addresses when it comes to the international authorisation of insecticides and other biocides. Our goal? Definitely achieved!
The time has now come to hand over responsibility to the next generation, who will continue to develop the BioGenius idea and provide new impetus. I am proud to pass the baton on to Alexander Brux, who will shape the future of our company with a fresh eye and innovative spirit. In the coming years, our 30-strong BioGenius team will continue to be committed to meeting the demanding challenges of our customers.

Looking back, I am very grateful for the long, exciting journey that I have been able to experience alongside Mike Bublitz as Managing Director of BioGenius and the entire team since 2011. For more than a decade, we have worked together to respond to challenging situations and find solutions that have helped us to make lasting progress.
I am particularly grateful that I was given the opportunity to progress from chemical laboratory technician to Managing Director. I look back on the last 13 years with pride - BioGenius has always been a place that challenges and encourages, a model of success in my eyes.
Joining the viridiusLAB AG Group this year opens up a new chapter. I look forward to continuing to help shape the future of BioGenius together with our dedicated team and our partners at viridiusLAB.
