With the company since 2010
For most people, insects or pests don't mean anything good. For me, however, they represent my daily work and passion.
I have been part of the BioGenius team since 2010 and took on the role of project manager for insect breeding in October 2021. I am extremely grateful for the trust placed in me. At BioGenius, I not only appreciate the challenging task in the field of insect breeding, but also the close cooperation with biological projects and initiatives that aim to test permanently effective and protective products.
I find the variety of activities fascinating: everyday insect breeding, which has almost become routine, as well as the establishment of new breeding methods for various insect species. I am proud to be part of a team that, together with one of the largest insect breeding centres in Germany, if not Europe, cultivates and cares for insects with love and passion. I find it particularly challenging to establish a new species and breed it to the necessary "production scale".
Over the years, I have witnessed how the range of insect species, test facilities and experimental possibilities at BioGenius has constantly expanded.
I look forward to continuing to make my valuable contribution to the BioGenius family and to working together to tackle new challenges and to care about safe and effective products.
